Maria Vasileva TodorovaWas born on September, 13th, 1975 in Dimitrovgrad - Bulgaria.She has finished faculty of painting in the " Neophyte Rilsky " institute in Blagoevgrad. There she studied painting, engraving, sculpture, decorative art, drawing, cromatics. She is engaged in iconography since 1997. She diligently studies its techniques. The range of creativity of the artist is extraordinary wide. Maria uses techniques like distempers, oil painting and ceramics drawing. She is engaged in iconographics, glass-staining, draws pictures, art ceramics, uses non-standard receptions in the products. Besides iconography the artist draws landscapes in which she tries to show the beauty of the Bulgarian nature and the feelings which it creates in her.Also she draws old Bulgarian houses in which pictures is shown the beauty, colour and charm of old Bulgarian houses. Maria's works are characterized by bright expressiveness of images and objects creating a special emotional spirit. Now her works are exposed in many galleries in Khaskovo and the region. |
